It’s been a long time coming, Twilight.

To help battle my recent art block, I wrote down the names of some of my favorite fictional characters, threw them in a hat, and picked at random. I wound up getting Sam Shakusky from Moonrise Kingdom.

Sadie is dead, to begin with. In technical terms she is undead, but dead is dead. She finds herself resurrected in a town full of monsters and other inhuman creatures, unknowing of her past or how she (briefly) left the world of the living.She’s taken in by the Hayden Academy for Extraordinary Youth and is now stuck having to deal with cliques she never even imagined. However, strange things start occuring throughout the town and for some unknown reason, they all seem to revolve around Sadie. Things are pretty lively for someone so dead. The first ten pages of Sadie is Dead are now up on Smackjeeves. Of course there’s also a website for the comic though it is still under a LOT of construction. In fact, the entire project is under construction but I digress. I’ll be posting update statuses on my Tumblr and Twitter.
